As it turns out, Vera's mother Pulse Valerie didn't die of birth complications thirty so years ago. In fact, she surprised her daughter so greatly that Vera broke down and cried, but this wasn't the end of things. She also had a brother. She couldn't hardly see the two standing there, eyes still filled with tears of joy from witnessing her own mother was alive. But once they started to clear from frequent eye rubbing she saw them, was this heaven. Did she die? How? She thought? Then her mother told her everything, that it was the overseer's fault that she had to leave, that she that felt every pain she did, that she held her son in, but let her out to be raised in the vault.
