Yesterday I got a big commission done so felt it was okay to get back to this. Had this sketched up a few months back. This is also a gift for Wraith
This part is of myself changing into a female Flammie anthro. (Already know that Flammie is male in the game) Flammie is from the Mana series.
This is five pages long. There is six pages more after this. They aren't inked just yet. Have more work to get done before I can get to them.

Heh, Guardian beast, guardian spirit, large eyed creature lurking in the depths, daughter of the winged ones... Flammie has had a ton of different names tied to it, and indeed, its gender has changed from game to game, but I don't think the designers put heavy stock in what gender it should be at any time.
The more I study the mana games, in fact, the more they seem to be loosely connected in time and place, but more like the Zelda series: One style of link, one Zelda, cuccoos, master sword, etc.: its the same essential legend retold under the concept that "history repeats itself."
All that being said, don't worry too much if you miss some details;)

*grins* not a problem. Actually, thinking back, I think both nintendo and square had the same idea: to make an action adventure-style rpg that focuses less on the world outside the immediate events in the games, so that storyline continuity didn't get in the way of making as fun an adventure as they could come up with. I would love the Mana world to be as detailed as say, Tolkien's work, but then again, its fun to use one's imagination to fill in any gaps:)
I'm only this knowledgable about this stuff because A. I love Flammie, and B. I love studying Game Design.
I suppose I'll put the links up for the Flammie transformations I have that I think are worth looking at; one from two years ago, and one from two months ago heh.

As for the picture itself... this is a wonderful treat. Flammie is my favorite character in those games; just bought dawn of mana to see it in luscious squaresoft 3-D animation. not disappointing:)
I dunno if I've ever gotten your attention before, but I've done some flammie stuff in my gallery, including two tfs. Take a look if you haven't already.
And again, thank you for representing this wonderful beast in your artwork
