23 - ANCIENT
Originally, I don't think I had any clue what to really do here... XD but over the course of the month, random comic watching and banter led me back to the Starjammers and recalling my introduction to that particular group of space pirates/rebels... with a particular furry female captive who the villains may have been plotting to eat prior to her rescue. It took a while to find her name so I could actually search her out, because unfortunately for everyone, modern Marvel seems to have warped her design tremendously over the years... and now she just looks like some fucking albino elf slut with a weird unidentifiable bit of random white wolf(?) tail... they talk like she's a "cat alien-thing" but... no... she's an elf with a dumb tail. It's a terrible redesign and I fucking hate it. Because she's not an fucking elf damnit... or a cat... she's a fucking ALIEN SKUNK and she was beautiful. Change her back. I'm so sad now... XP
So, anyways... yeah... here's Hepzibah. In her original incarnation. I'd have drawn in the rest of her legs, cause she has neat fur things around her feet but... I'm gonna claim laziness there, it'd have taken a bunch of extra effort, I'm a bad. XD (Was already late and trying to hurry, I'm sorrehs XD)
But like, seriously? Real talk? XD This character and the intro story I read about them and the rest of the Starjammers, back in the Classic X-Men run... one of the three Xmen comics I ever actually owned... was kind of impactful on me. I wouldn't be surprised if me being a furry (and possibly into vore, lols XD) traces back to some degree to this character/story. I'm sure it helped that it was a space fantasy thing too, because that's the kind of huge nerd I am. XD And like, I literally didn't remember/realize she was a skunk either until literally a week ago when I was looking it up again, but now that aspect is so obvious I dunno how that never sunk in. XD XD

Ah, Hepzibah back before a series of writers who didn't understand why she had that name and looked like a skunk gradually turned her into an elf.
(She appears to be a composite of Mem'selle Hepzibah, a skunk from Pogo, and Chee Lar, a sort-of-cat alien adventure from a Poul Anderson story.)

Ahh, I certainly see the resemblances.
I just wish there was someone with the knowledge and pull to actually change that back now... -.-;;
Part of why it took me so long to figure out I was looking at the right character or not was that every time I clicked on something for Hepzibah, I got images of the weird elf-thing shoved in my face and was just like "Well that's not her... so it must be one of these other characters."

It would only take one artist/writer to fix the problem. The issue is that Marvel doesn't seem to enforce style sheets and so characters change drastically in appearance from artist to artist, especially non-human ones. The horror of Football Head Rocket and Pug Rocket shows that the editors just don't care.
