When it comes to folkes I'm willing to commission, I am pretty picky. There's a very specific list of things I look for in both the artists work and the person, themselves- Their style, does it feel unique to them? What mediums they work with? What's the over all feel of their work? Often these all take a back seat to what they will and won't work on, their values in their art and their person, because, frankly, there's some biz that if I see it in your gallery, we are DONE, period. Not hiring your ass and not likely talking to you.
