You know with as many characters who could play a role as a fighter in any sort of rpg or fantasy related game, there comes a point that giving the player control of certain characters would easily make the game “too easy” given how broken they would seem. Case and point, Etezla! Etezla wouldn’t be a character that a player would get to control, rather she would be a boss that players would have to tackle! No, not some run of the mill boss you would encounter during a playthrough of a story/campaign, and no not the final boss either. Etezla would be more along the lines of an Optional boss or a Super boss; something that will have otherwise questioning your skill or understanding of the game at large, something that makes you understand the phrase “there’s a reason this is optional”. Etezla would be similar to the velvet room attendants from the persona series, the lingering will from Kingdom hearts final mix, emerald weapon from Final fantasy 7, and Sigrun from God of war; in which you need to go all out and there is little to no room for error when going up against her. Remember that Etezla is the goddess of battle and hunting, so a simple fight against her is something you’re not gonna get; and mercy is something you will be outright denied. However, if you manage to pull out a victory…or at the very least give her a fight worthy of her praise, she will act as a valuable asset to your future battles, further signified by her gifting you with a prized mask with a treasured dagger. I really hope you in it for the long haul with her…cuz there’s no turning back! *TRIVIA: Etezla is one of the only deities in the roster who is directly combative, the other being Oblivia. Akiyo does not personally fight, but provides support; and Calista fights very rarely.
