The Virginia Opossum, commonly referred to as simply a "possum", has a flexible diet and can eat just about anything including skeletal remains of other animals. They adapt very well to urban areas they can be found enjoying human food waste straight out of the trash. When threatened they will play dead or display the intimidating teeth in their large mouths - but it's all just a show. In reality, even wild opossums are very sweet and docile creatures unlikely to harm any human!
Many of us lead lives similar to the opossum - Being resourceful with what we have, even if what we have is considered garbage to most everyone else. This is the Trash Life!

OK, this is officially one of the funnier piss-takes taken against Salt-Life that I've seen so far. :P
That's almost as good as when Roots Athletics was insanely popular up here when I was in High School, and someone decided to to a piss-take on Roots by showing their beaver emblem as either (1) bloated and attracting flies, (2) as a skeleton, or (3) squished as roadkill, with the caption 'ROTS' instead of 'ROOTS'. :P
