Vampyroteuthis infernalis (literally "Vampire Squid from Hell") are closer to octopi than squid. With eight arms, each lined with cirri, spines that help stab into their prey, they trap them like an iron maiden rather than with suction cups and grip along. While they don't have as developed chromatophores as most cephalopods, they live in the darkest depth of the ocean. They would be intimidating if they weren't just 1 foot (30cm long)...
Of course, that's not stopping Akko from dressing up to play the role of the horrifying Hellspawn herself. Just be careful, she might not drink your blood, but every Octopus is venomous. Just one bite and you're lunch~
