heh, I could see that. A fun thing about animation is you can still make something fun no matter how derpy it looks. Focusing more on motion and flow are more important to me (Not that I can say there was a focus here), drawing pretty frames is tedious. :P

Yeah makes sense to keep it simple and focus to the expressive side of things. Sounds encouraging anyway, makes me want to dip my hooves in animation some day.
