And I wasn't implying that ALL harpies had a cloaca; this is a design based roughly on a picture I showed her this morning. The harpies in my story have more bird-anatomy than human.

It depends on the mythology you follow. Standard Greek mythology also says they were all hideous, wrinkled vulture hags that ATE men after they got finished fucking them.
The problem is, i can't really divulge information about the harpies in my universe and how they reproduce because its a spoiler to an arc :/
