On Halloween of 2018, I had spent the day at a downtown courthouse on standby for jury duty. Naturally I took a pad of paper and a ballpoint pen with me so I could take my mind off of the boredom/anxiety of the situation. As it happened, it didn't exactly take my mind off of it...

I had it this summer...
Defense Lawyer: "Jurist #42, if you are picked to be a jurist and somehow are elected Foreman, could you keep twelve of these people in line?"
Me: Looks around the room, notes that the Judge is putting her face in her hands so I announce "No Bloody Way."
And now they can't drag me downtown ever again, there is a three year grace period between call-ups, once your seventy you are free and clear and I'm 68!
Jurist #42 huh? And I forgot my towel.

Last time I was called up I was Juror #1 and I was immediately assigned to a 12-week murder trial. I had already sat on an automobile personal injury case a few year earlier and was elected foreman. The first day of the trial the court clerk called me as I was literally on my way out the door. She told me the Prosecution and Defense and come to a plea bargain -- at the very last minute.
It's a pity no-one mistook you for the courtroom sketch artist.
I don't really understand the concept behind courtoom sketches. First they have sketch artists instead of photographers, but I've seen courtroom sketches where the defendant's face is pixelated out anyway. I guess that artist got too realistic. They should probably only let in abstract expressionists or surrealists. Or possibly someone who draws everyone as funny animals.
