Listened to your podcast recently and read some of your posts (from like 4 years ago) and wanted to make sure that I didn't make the "Take-has-never-heard-of-you" error. I thought that your opinion on Live albums was valid (I like live albums not so much to listen to in leu of a regular album, but to see If they are actually close to as good as they are in the studio. This in my opinion seperates the wolves from the pups if that's not too cutesey for you.) I don't know if it were just luck or that you're super thorough amongst the few FA (non electronica) musicians but I thought it was pretty cool to get a view from you right out of the gate.
OH, and the roughness is due to the literally 0$ spent on production values. Free garageband, stock built in microphone, The guitars cost money but I just plug them into the headphone jack with no mixers anyway. My assuredly naive outlook on this is that "hey when you get a record deal, they'll pay for a good recording right?".
On a pun note, have you reviewed an album by the band "Live"? Those are "LIVE" albums that I can fully enjoy.

Roughness of your kind is acceptable, don't get me wrong. :V
And how I found you was simply by checking the front page. :3 I find more musicians that way. If I like what I hear and they've only got one or two submissions at the time, I go ahead and watch; otherwise, I bookmark them for later perusal. So yes, you got lucky. :D And I'm flattered, by the way, thank you for listening to my stuff, and thank you for watching me!
Live is a band I do like, though their albums are behind me right now as far as listening to new material (i.e., I've heard them all, and it was years ago). I do own a copy of Throwing Copper, if that tells you anything. :B

Well, I'll answer your question then tell you what I like about the music.
You see the little box under the FA banner on the top left of almost every page? If you click the forum link (you have to register to post) and go down to nearly the bottom of the page, you'll see a thing that's called 'The Art Shack',
Just go to the first forum (the one that says the art exchange) and post this trade proposal there, you're much more likely to find artists willing to trade there than having one pop by here by accident.
Now onto the music, your voice is really something, in tune and pleasing in tone, and your lyrics are very memorable. Are you playing with a band or is everything done solo?
Anyway, there's nothing I don't like, though I think that in the sections (sorry my musical terminology isn't that advanced yet) were you sing 'watch the clock, it's counting down' a few times over, you could have put a descending scale (or broken chord) at one note per second to represent the time passing (I know that that's personal preference, but I can imagine it playing in my head so clearly that you don't even need to put the actual notes in there). You deserve a virtual handshake!

everything is absolute solo. I play real bass and 6 string guitar and sing everything in multiple layers. The drum kit is midi (not enough room or mics for a real set) but I tap squares in real time. I record completely in garageband (free) and use all stock equiptment so I end up with decent music but a rather disappointing recording.
Nice, a lot like what I do (only I don't have a mac and use a free program for windows and since I can't play every instrument in the world, I have a fairly old sampler which I layer to get a full orchestra).
Well, the important thing is that what you do is really nice, and my ear aches to hear more.
