A Question of Time - Wik Castle
The 4th installment of my spooktober horror series takes place around this castle in eastern Sweden. You can find that story here >>
Here is a sideview of the old keep in the distance with the path leading to the harbour. You can see the overgrown crumpled wall and slopes where Josh and Katie fell very clearly here. They continue down into the water on the other side of the path. In this picture however almost no hemlocks are present. When I last walked that path in summer of 2019 the path was almost overgrown, walled by massive water hemlocks. It was very eerie to take that walk and it inspired this story!
