Back when I had dreads and when they were new and short (The perfect size)
Man this brings back memories. The rooms are pretty accurate to the apartment room I was living in with 3 other roommates, though I spent most of my time at my studio studying and practicing. (Hence this Inktober project)
Looking back, there's some things I definitely would of done differently while at MCAD:
- Not associating with toxic people
- Taking better care of myself (physically and mentally)
- Utilizing the library more (Didn't learn how to use it till Senior year)
- Eating at the MCAD Bistro less (I had a tab of like, 300 bucks XD)
- Studying programming more
- Draw at the Sunday Nude Model sessions for extra practice
- Not associating with toxic fucking people
- Study and practice like I did my Sr and Jr year, but as a Freshman instead.
- Not be so insecure about myself
- Maaaaybe watch less Les Twins videos....ah screw it, they were worth it.
- Not put so much pressure on myself to find self-worth through attention online (I did that back then)
- Read books more
- Read comics more
- Play less DCUO (Though, admittedly, it had its moments)
- Explore Minneapolis instead of confining myself to the campus
- Make professional contacts, and not take everything so personally
- Don't associate with toxic crazy people
- Ask for help
- Wait earlier in line for the Food Van, especially in the Winter
- Not give up on myself (Some days I did; depression)
- Not spend days in isolation
- Workout 3 times a week
- Clean the apartments I resided
- Not bicker with roommates
- Wash my clothes before they became an overwhelming mound of stank
- Learn to cook
- Not play video games so much
- Talk to family more
- Not skip class
- Not insult my instructors (privately)
Good god I was a wreck at MCAD, how tf did
Blurrygrey put up with me XD
