Unmodded so far. I like to conquor and understand the base game before I add anything XD

If you do play modded Angel and bobs is the way to go. Makes the game far more complicated.

Yup totally an addiction. I total do not have over 500+ hours into the game so far.

I am envious of your floor plan. I seldom could find resources close enough to allow for a clean, circuitlike build. Often lead me to be daunted by the increase of crafting difficulty upon hitting the oil/plastic phase.

I try to find larger clusters of ores/resources away from spawn and set up there. I saw this with tons of space and HAD to start there.

Rail lines are amazing for moving resources too! Miners/pumps, and plenty of storage near the resource, then take a rail line up and bring it back to the station to feed Smelters or your Refineries. AND as a bonus, the trains can burn through those 10 iron chests of wood you don't need anymore XD

If you right click on the map you can label parts with out spelling it on the ground, beyond that great start. Also are we ever going to get more MLEP?

The point where it starts to get messy on my end is usually the oil refineries and the realization that no matter how much space i allocate at start, i planned them too small(again) but they are needed for all the awesome automated drones.
I really can't get enough of those, therefore i usually try to rush them as fast as i can.

And yeah, I know this addiction all too well.

I was soooo addicted to Factorio for ~2 years. Spent too many nights in it, with giant constructs and everything (played on unmodded)
Only thing I never managed were the time-achievements.

Is that how it looks now? The menu bar was different in my memory. Less blocky.

Can the time achievements be done with Multiplayer? Cause logically 2 players will half the time, 3, 1/3rd ect.
I think I also played abit before the UI update, but not enough to remember it

Yes, I'm pretty sure they can, as long as each player is part of the game for the majority of time. One to build, one to fight off the beasts and rebuild would already be great. I've not yet played over the Internet, though, and am afraid lag and timezone scheduling is hard.
