As I have a new Krefeld Pinguine jersey on its way, I decided to pull a few jerseys out of my collection, from left to right, my Iserlohn Roosters jersey from the German DEL league (this jersey never fails to draw attention because of the German writing on it), then my Krefeld Pinguine jersey also from the German DEL league, my Pittsburgh Penguins jersey (yes, I'm a Pens fan, it also appears in my featured picture - and was a pain in the ass to get made up and sent over here) and finally my Adelaide Adrenaline jersey from the Australian Ice Hockey League (although we have two teams in Sydney, the Adelaide supporter base is brilliant and took me in when I attended a match a few years ago).

All of them have something in common: apart from the obvious - they are all ice hockey jerseys, they all have my name and 34 on them.

This actually carries some significance with me, Bar any representative matches, 34 was until this year, my player number I carried from when I started playing hockey, until my new hockey uniform arrived this year with new numbering on it. The Pingu name goes without explanation. It's also my identifier when I fursuit so people know where I am. My only jersey to differ from this naming tradition will be for my crocodile fursuit that is in the works, it will be a Hamburg Crocodiles jersey bearing the name Chomp.

It will remain my true number on any new jerseys.
