This is Goosebumps #53: Chicken Chicken
Siblings Crystal and Cole accidentally bump into Goshen Falls local witch, Vanessa and in a loud whisper, she points at them saying "Chicken Chicken". They have been cursed and are becoming chickens. This is bad as their parents own a chicken farm and are getting ready for a barbecue....
The real reason why Vanessa cursed the children and the twist ending are alarmingly underwhelming.
