I love all of the jewelry she's wearing, especially the piece on her upper arm. And for all that I'm not normally fond of weapons, her bow is actually kind of pretty. I like the sentiment of this piece, too. She looks more than capable of handling anything she has to alone, and sometimes that really is the most valuable thing in the world.
I like the self-confidence and assertiveness you're showing in your character. For me it's in the eye and the grip and the stability of the pose. Gorgeous detailing too. The frame and the stylised form give it a sort of ikon-like quality with secular rather than religious overtones- don't know how else to describe it. Interesting blending.
