This one is a bit of a test (And not part of the 365 challenge).
Since I’m hoping to get a table at the artist alley at ScotiaCon, I’m going to need a decent paper to do any commissions on. I had been toying with Fabriano paper, it has a nice weight (unlike the bleed-proof paper I normally use), and it’s nice to draw on, but it is £1 a sheet (For A5). However when I was away on holiday I took a look around a branch of W H Smith and found a general purpose drawing pad (30 sheets of 250gsm paper) for £7.99. I’ve just thrown pencil, water-based and alcohol-based markers at it and it had held up well, no bleed through or anything.
