You're been trekking deep into the woods at his point. So deep, it actually started to become a marsh, with how close you;ve moved to the nearby lake. You've almost lost your boots more than once. If not for the minor enchantment on the ring you purchased at the town outside the woods, you know you'd been eaten alive by the mosquitoes.
It felt like hours by the time you finally found the hovel. Built against a large tree, mostly made from weather worn piece of boat and oars. She was outside, picking at some of the fungal and weeds that grew around.
Before you could act, you felt your body growing stiff. She was facing towards you now, hand outreached. Tabaxi. Clearly female, her chest exposed clearly to the elements. She took a moment to look you over. You could feel her eyes boring into you, even though her lids were closed.
"Forgive me, child," she whispered to you, lowering her arm, releasing the Hold Person spell she captured you in. "I don't normally get visitors out this deep into my little cut of the marsh. You can never be too careful."
You give a faint nod, though you can't resist the urge to rest your hand onto your weapon. "I'm looking for the Tabaxi they call Tituba. Should I just assume at this point?"
Tituba gives a soft nod, taking a moment to bundle the moss she was holding in her other hand. "Aye, you found her, child. What can this old witch do for you?"
