I remember that special, it was an alien safari thing speculating what the first mission to an alien planet would be like. I don't remember if it was on Animal Planet or the Discovery channel, but I DO remember one time I was watching it in my dorm room and my room mate who was clearly high thought it was a real safari special...

I still LOVE that doc to this day. The alien creatures of Darwin IV are so uniquely well designed and fun to look at!
