Okay so new thing, basically I really liked the idea of making a Kirin inspired Giraffe at some point so I made this species. But recently decided to do a more up to date version for posting purposes. So here's the thing~
Val Tah'ren
Threat Level: ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
Info: The Val Tah'ren are a rare yet towering Great Beast often titled the "Gods of the north" for their rarity and size, and often are worshipped by those who live in the locales it resides near. Though usually seemingly more timid and tending to stay deep within the more harsher portions of cold locales they have been known to rarely approach towards more openly accessible environments, this usually leading them to grow dangerously close to towns or civilizations often ending in them being slain or repelled back into the further reaches where they pose little to no risk of danger. The danger mainly coming from the immense amount of ice element they exude into the air from the crystalline structures on their backs. When active these structures produce a harsh snowstorm within the surrounding area often leaving the land inhospitable, Though there has been a few incidents where the species seemed to grow aggressive towards towns with little to no provoking, the reasons why are unknown. Some of the more deeper in belief will often try to draw the species out out of desire to worship it or even actively enter the more dangerous lands they dwell typically unprepared for survival in the climates. It is also notable that the species appears to be heavily frostbitten within the spots where it exudes most of its ice element. Given the rarity and desire for this species many researchers have committed to forming more advanced expeditions to find and record data of this particular species whenever possible.
Combat Info: It mostly fights using the ice element it produces inducing heavy snowstorms to slow or weaken its target, and otherwise producing large chunks of hail to strike down its enemies. Due to its size however it equally will fight using its sheer size and strength to crush and pulverize its attackers with relative ease.
Diet: It is believed to be an herbivore but it has been noted of those who encounter it disappearing...
