Here is a song performed by my former choir group called North Bay Opera Theatre Ensemble. The group has since disbanded from the North Bay Opera, and now work exclusive under our director Sam Schieber. Our group is now called Samantics (Sam-Antics, get it? hehe).

Anyway, this is myself singing the role of Tommy, with Amanda as Carrie, my friend Vanessa as Sue, and a couple others too. In the little thumbnail pic is Vanessa and myself.

Story of the song: If you've ever seen the movie, it's right before Carrie gets blood dumped all over her. It's prom night or whatever, and Tommy (me) is all happy about being there with Carrie, while his g/f (Sue) is now officially upset that she let him go. Then you have the 2 boys (one is a girl for this) who plot to dump the blood on her. Then there's Carrie's mom, and then the school P.E. Teacher "with a heart of gold". Anyway, after all of us have our little solos and singings together, the whole choir gets involved, and in true Opera style, we all sing different things at the same time til the end of the song.

BTW, this was part of our concert of Broadway Flops. This musical didn't make it very far...for many reasons.
