Since I was sketching my human OCs in fancy outfits, I decided I should do the same for the elites, so I picked Shar'rah and Thar. Since elites are described to wear something similar to tabards when not wearing uniform but still being in service, I decided to go with that and used this pic as my main reference https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/xfMA.....aTo/s-l500.jpg
I guess those two share a romantic night out in a fancy location of Sanghelios. Shar'rah wearing her usual fancy as hell outfit (she's from a rich merchant family) whilst Thar wears his tabard in gold, indicating his status as a fieldmaster and zealot (gives him kind of a knightly look, no?). Whilst Shar'rah is somewhat frail and just happy to have her love around, Thar is above average size and constantly scowling at whoever may disagree of the sight of the two, since officially they aren't allowed to be together due to that little incident that fucked up Thar's face years ago. But really, since Thar is a big guy with a sword and known for his short temper, I guess your average Sangheili won't dare to speak up...
This was just a quick sketch but I ended up liking the pose and all so much that I went full retard on it and elaborated it way more than I should. Oh well, was a good opportunity to try something different with the shading for once. Hope you enjoy! =)

Which also reminds me that we don’t really see the Predator’s do the same thing, have something that shows their culture on the civilian side. I mean technically we have with the comic books but I don’t think those are considered canon by the main franchise.
Atleast with stuff like Aliens fire team (which is FUN!) where we do see actual post movie world building and show that overtime even the military would get sick of corporate meddling and corruption. And a bunch of other stuff that happened as well.
