it's based on a toy I got out of a quarter machine when I was a leeetle kid. It was a small, painted, wooden camel. One combined foot up front, two in back. A little saddle on it's hump. It also had a hole drileld through the middle, so I guess it was a bead. I peeled off a sticker that read "made in Isreal". That camel was awesome. I asked on twitter who like camels, and uh, Pintear was the only one that responded... so that's why it's a Pintear camel. Also his tail popped off, but I glued that sucker back on. Sorry the pictures are so bad and dirty looking. Clay has a habit of photographing dirty.
