Hey there everybody, been a while since I posted. Sorry about that.
Wasn't feeling up to my usual Trick-or-Treat picture series this year so I opted for something a bit different... and tapped into my love of old Horror Host media (like Tales from the Crypt, Are You Afraid of the Dark, and so forth~) to put together a story compilation for all of you~
And acting as out Crypt Keeper/Vault Keeper/Old Witch for this compilation is a Gourgeist girl along with her little phantump brother~ Could tell you there names... but that's what the story is for, isn't it~?
So, for the approval of my audience, I present a series of 4 stories that get into the spirit of the season~ Pretty much all featuring familiar faces from my cast of tiny pokemorphs~
Please enjoy, fav and comment, and have a Happy Halloween! =D
Also worked hard on this Spook House pic~ Hope you all enjoy all the inane little details I added to it~ >w>

"It's that time of year again my little ones~ The leafs fade, the days grow short and cold, the season of spirits is upon us! And as in the years before this season brings things back one more, blowing in on the autumn breeze to again haunt the city of Viridian… like the Viridian Autumn Festival~ Heehehehe~ HeehehahahaHAHAHA!!!"
The massive shiny gourgeist threw her arms wide, her massive almost knee length hair forming extra arms for effect as she gestured dramatically to the carnival lights, rides, and sounds around them.
"Oh yes, the Autumn Festival~ It comes every year my little ones, sponsored by the city, it's businesses, and some prominent local families~ Like the Maldonado's, the Horndeski's, the Greenwood's, and the Kartouche family~ But of course, the festival brings haunting traditions all it's own~ Yes, every year it rolls in like a ghostly fog, the Viridian City Spook House! HeehehahaHAHAHA!"
The massive cackling ghost once again gesture dramatically to the tall, comically spooky looking building behind her. Lit by haunting blue lights as opposed to the cheerful reds and yellows of the rest of the festival it loomed over them. The faint sound of creepy pipe organ music drifting from it, fading among the brighter noises of the rest of the celebration.
"But what pray tell actually goes ON inside the Spook House now that it has once more returned I hear you ask? Well my little ones allow ME, Gretchen P Kartouche, to guide you though a few tales of terror from this storied attraction… accompanied with commentary by my precious little brother Gaspar~ Hehehehaha~ Say hi Gaspar~"
A tiny phantump peek out from behind the Gourgeist, easily hidden by the sheer volume of her hair, and whimpered quietly "D-don't you think t-this is a little… o-over the t-top sister?" as the other noises threatened to drown him out.
"NONSENSE! HehehahahaHAHAHAAHAA! On with our first tale! I call it…"
Better the Spook you Know~
*******************
Our story begins as three guests approach the ominous doors of the Spook House~ A little Mad scientist teddy in his adorably oversized googles and gloves and a big white labcoat he thinks hide his diapers. An equally padded little midnight lycanroc riolu who thinks he's in a werewolf costume and was enjoying swinging his oversized paw gloves around. Both escorted by a frankenstein's monster of a kangaskhan with the tattered clothes and bolts~ You see we don't let little ones into the Spook House unaccompanied after all~
"Why didn't they believe I was 14!? I had the ID and everything…"
"You also had a child's festival pass Petie~ Come on, forget about it and lets enjoy the spooky fun~"
Arriving at the looming double doors of the haunted mansion the kangaskhan pushed them open with a creeeeeeeeeeak, allowing the teddiursa and riolu to waddle in. Finding themselves in the dark hallway of the mansion, illuminated only by the faint, haunting blue glow of spectral candles lining it… and the two illuminated lines forming a pathway through the house~ That's the rules after all, you follow along the path and stay inside the lines as you go from room to room~ Of course, each room comes with a surprise or two…
Like the doors swinging shut behind them once the kangaskhan was safely inside the hallway with her little ones with a booming SLAM!! Or the flickering flames bursting to life with a WOOSH illuminating the hallway lined with photos~ Oooooor the rows of shuppet plushies on strings with cackling smiling faces dropping down around them with a burst of prerecorded ghostly laughter~ Surprises like that~ Heehehehahaha~
It's only natural our guest jump and squeak in shock at these little surprises of course… as the khangaskhan and teddiursa look to the riolu with concern once the shock had passed. "Y-you okay Jules?" the little mad scientists tone is one of concern "Know you don't like ghosts… didn't mean to drag you into this just cause we wanted to go…" he continues… as to his shock his little friend bursts into giggles~
"I'm fine~" the werewolf giggled, hopping from foot to foot and waving his paws in the air with an adorable innocence that contrasted the spooky backdrop wonderfully~ "You sure?" the frankenstein's monster added "I mean, we had you wear a diaper just to be safe but you're sure the ghosts aren't gonna bother you?" she asked poking one of the hanging shuppets… whiiiiiiich she shouldn't have done, one of the rules is not to touch the attraction props, buuuuut I'll let it slide this time on account of her little ones~ Heehehaa~
The werewolf just giggled. "Nu uh, see? They're fake~ That's what makes Halloween fun~!" skipping ahead he looked at one of the paintings on the wall that showed a beautiful delphox woman dressed as a southern belle in a sunny garden. With an ominous musical cue the picture shifted to show a mismagius woman in the foxes place in a wilted moonlight garden making the riolu eep in surprise… then giggle even more. "See? It's safe~ Just safe, spooky, no real ghosts Halloween fun~" he called back to them~
The kangaskhan just chuckled and moved to catch-up with the little one before he got too far ahead… but the teddiursa~? For whatever reason he lingered for a moment and glanced up at the dangling shuppets~ He lingered juuuuust long enough to notice one of them was sticking its tongue out at him unlike the others~ As he stared up at it… the shuppet giggled, winked to the little bear, and vanished before his very eyes as he stiffened in surprise~ Though I couldn't tell you why~ After all… you can't have a spook house without a few real spooks, can you~?
"… Jules doesn't need to know about that."
Scurrying off to catch up with the rest of his group the little mad scientist has the decency to look at the painting the others had noticed earlier… and that it was different now~ After all, we want the spook house to be a little different each time in case someone comes back~ Heehehehahahaaahaa~ Now? Instead of the garden scene from before~? It showed a little teddiursa girl in a sun bonnet and dress happily sitting on a tree swing with a plushie…
And for some reason the little mad scientist scurried off in a hurry as it shifted to show a smirking banette sitting on the swing holding a crying teddiursa dolly~ How rude of him, he didn't even stick around to see the misdreavus who poked their head out of the painting to watch him run off~
***************
"But don't worry my little ones, the riolu was right~ Halloween is for spooky fun and spooky fun should be safe~ We'd neeeeeeeeever go too far with the spookiness, would we Gaspar~? Heehehahaha~"
"W-well… y-you do kinda l-like scaring people b-big sis…"
"Oh hush~ You know my motto~ Life's no fun without a good scare~"
"Y-you stole that from a movie…"
"Yes~ Yes I did~ HeehehahaHAHAHAHA~ But I assure you, any spooks who may or may not be on the grounds are perfectly harmless and safe~ Safe enough to be around the littlest of little ones~ Which actually brings us to my next tale~ A little door knocker I call…"
Trickster's Treats~
*****************
Our story begins, my little ones, on a very special night for the Spook House~ A very special night for ALL spooks~ Halloween~ Though, to be fair, "Night" might be stretching it a bit~ Heehehahaha~ Think more… late afternoon~ But there's a reason for that! Can't have the littler ones staying up too late~ After all, what is Halloween without the wonderful tradition of Trick or Treating~?
Of course, for the littler of the little ones, keeping them up late for that sweet sweet candy run might not be ideal… but the Spook House can provide~ On Halloween we designate a few special hours and turn our Spooky Mansion into it's own little one safe trick-or-treat route~ We tone down the more serious scares, turn up the cuteness and funny, AND have a cast member in a costume waiting in each of the major rooms to hand out candy to the groups as they go through… speaking of which…~
Behold! Our brave group of little Trick-or-Treaters! All ages 3 - 6 of course~ Clad in their costumes (while it gets you a discount on a little ones admittance the rest of the time it's required for this little trip through the Spook House) and having just received their empty treat bags at the door they're quite eager to fill them~ All with adult supervision of course~ Can you imagine a group of toddlers running loose and free in the house? That's too scary for even US to consider~
But what's this~? There seems to be some strangers in the midst of all these little ones~ Lets watch and see who might not belong~ Heehehehahahaaaa~
The group enters what looks to be a spooookily lit kitchen full of the sounds of bubbling pots. Various odd plants hung up to dry in between the prop murkrows and bat bats watching from on top of the shelves. All the various chaperones (including big siblings amongst the grown ups, some with trick-or-treat bags of their own) are doing their best to keep the little ones in order. A difficult job even without any unexpected surprises. Like the spooky lighting suddenly glowing green and illuminating a massive cauldron with a jack-o-lantern face on it that bubbles over with a bright green foam as a witches cackle is heard~
And to the chorus of squeals, both excited and scared, the lights return to normal illuminating one of our wonderful cast members, dressed as a witch naturally, standing next to an equally large cauldron by the door to the next room. An equally large cauldron full of candy rather than green bubbles~ She waits patently for the chaperones to restore some semblance of order and to bring the little ones over to say the magic words…
"Trick or Treat."
It would seem someone is skipping a little ahead of the group~ In fact the stocky munchlax girl in the duskull costume had ignored the surprise completely and waddled right over to the lady with the candy the moment they'd gotten into the room. That's just not right you know~ We work hard on those surprises after all~ And that's not even getting into the fact that-
Oh? it seems someone is joining her. An adorable chubby little pichu boy in a mimikyu costume wadded over next to her~ "J-Jane! Chuuuuu, you've g-gotta wait f-for the others!" he whimpers as he tugs on her cloak's sleeve~ Which is adorable~ At least he knows how to behave in the Spook House… even if neither of them belong in this group~ Oh yes they can slap on diapers and concealing cloaks and hoods and masks but we always know~ We have our ways…
"Weren't you two here last year? Yeah, I remember you…"
Recurring staff is one of those ways~ "No… er… nu-uh." the munchlax drones, adjusting her face concealing mask, in one of the worst fibs I've ever had the amusement to see~ "P-please? W-we're j-just here for fun…. chuuuu…" the mimik-pichu squeaks timidly… which is a much more convincing argument as far as I'm concerned~ Even as his munchlax friend adds "And candy." onto the end of it~ But it's not up to me~ It's up to our wonderful staff members to decided whether or not to allow this~
"… no spoiling any of the fun for the other little ones and you're going to the back when they're lined up, got it?"
And it looks like they'll give them a pass this time~ "Deal." the munchlax drones before waddling back to the group as the chaperones are finally started to get the kids back in some form of order. The pichu though? He tarries a moment longer~ Blushing as he fiddles with the oversized hood of his mimikyu costume before squeaking out a "T-thank y-yu. Chuuuuu…" and waddling after his companion~ The Spook House can be forgiving after all even if you break a few minor rules, so long as it's all in good fun…
Which is why our wonderful witchy worker was nice enough to stop him and fix his costume with only a few minor giggles~ It'd ridden up enough around his tail to show the cushie tushie underneath~ The little chu was even polite enough to thank her again~ Such a little sweetheart~ Do hope they both behave for the rest of the house… and they enjoy their candy when it's all done~ Even if I'm placing my money on it not lasting five minutes with that munchlax getting into it~ Heehehehahahahaaa~
*******************
"But yes my little ones, we knew they weren't the age they looked~ Their disguises couldn't fool us~ We have our ways-"
"S-sis, y-you told me you recognized t-them from school."
"Yes, yes I did Gaspar. Thank you for mentioning that."
"Y-you're welcome?"
"Aaaaaaaaaaanyway where was I? Oh yes! The next story~ We've had a tale of treats… but what are treats without a trick or two~? HeehehehahahaHAHA! My next tale is fresh out of the box and ready to play, I call it…"
You're Such a Doll~
*********************
This tale takes place on a different night my little ones, when the Spook House ISN'T hosting a trick-or-treat route~ Yes this is a normal day of wear and scare here with guests going through the mansion same as always~ And we have two such little guests now~ An azurill vampire with cape, formal wear, and fangs (an a precious golbat themed cover for his tail as it bounces along behind him) and a little pumpkaboo witch~ There's always room for another ghost in the Spook House after all~
"Terri, just because I agreed tu come vith yu here doesn't mean yu get tu cling tu me like zis."
"We're on a daaaaate~ We're on a daaaaaate~"
"No ve're not!"
Heehehehahaha~ A playdate more like it~ I'd call it puppy love but there's no doggies to be found~ Lets just call it a crush instead~ They're always adorable when they happen this little~ And it seems our little count is having some trouble with his fangs~ But no matter, the Spook House has plenty of scares for this little couple~ Just wait till they see the next room-
"Besides, didn't yu say zis doesn't scare yu any? Yu dun need tu hug me like zis zen!"
"Course not~ Imma ghost silly~ This stuff doesn't spook me at all, can't be scared when you know how they're done… and gonna hug you anyway~"
,,, heehehehahahahaaaaa… can you guess which words she shouldn't have said my little ones?
Our two little lovebirds enter the next room… and are immediately greeted by the cheerful, creepy melody of a music box~ They've arrived in the dolls room… and boy are there a lot of them~ Sitting in rows on the shelves attached to the walls and their peeling nursery print wallpaper~ Sitting on the large toybox in the corner and around the tea party table in the other corner~ Lined up on the floor along the walkway lines and in every space the room allows~ Big dolls, little dolls, baby dolls, fancy dolls, dolls of all kind… including a few that slooooowly turn their heads to follow the new guest… and the little ghostie who thinks she's not scared~
Right on cue, as always, the spooky fun starts as a chorus of spooky child voices join the music box tune and the lights start to dim in the room~ Well… MOST of the lights~ A few plushies had their eyes start to glow helpfully for those scared of the dark and there was a few flashes of light as well~ All the better to see the shadowy figures darting back and forth among the dolls to an ominous scurrying noise WITHOUT actually being able to see them~ Especially as the music, singing, and scurrying started to build in tempo~
SPEAKING of not seeing… it seems our self proclaimed brave little pumpkin isn't too observant either… but that'll come up in a moment~
As the lights and sounds reached a FEVER PITCH… they suddenly die down as there's a squeak in the room~ Specifically a squeak designed to get the guests to look over at the tea party table where our mimikyu prop sits, squeaking and swaying its head cutely for them~ If our guests are observant they might notice a few other mimikyu among the dolls or that there's a lot more ghost type dolls then there were before… but I think our little witch is about to notice something else~
"Heh~ That was fun, right Poly~? Wasn't scar… Poly? Patrice? Where'd you… go?"
Specifically she'd notice one out of place little dolly sitting on the path where her date was before the light show~ A dolly she naturally picks up and looks at as it's bouncy tail, complete with golbat cover, dangles down~ It's an adorable chubby little azurill dolly dressed in formal wear complete with a little vest and ascot~ Its spoked vampire cape dangles down its back cutely and it's rosy cheeked smile has two little fangs sticking out from it~ An adorable little plushie that'd been exactly where her date had been… as little miss not scared looks remarkably bug-eyed for a ghost type~
"H-ha ha, f-funny right? This is just a Substitute, right? R-really funny Patrice, really fu-"
"Teeeeerriiiii… heeeeeeeeelp meeeeeeeee…."
A tiny little voice squeaked from somewhere close as the plushie clumsily waved it's arms as she held it up~
"JAAAAAAAAAAACKIEEEEEEEEEE!!!!"
We can chalk up "Brave" to the list of things this little pumpkin witch isn't~ Lookit her flee down the hallway in a scared panic~ Add observant to that list too or she MIGHT have noticed her boyfriend having stepped to the side to try and fix his vampire teeth or their gourgeist escort helping him with them~ Or the banette worker hidden in the corner who put the plushie there and practiced a little puppetry and ventriloquism with it~ Oh well~ It's what HAPPENS when you say you're not scared in a Spook House after all~
"Terri? Terri! Wait up! I haven't gotten my teeth back in yet!"
And off they go after here~ Maybe they'll catch her by the next room~ HeehehehehehahahahaHAHAHAH!!!
****************
"Don't worry though~ We let her keep the dolly after it was all over~ We're not CRUEL after all and she learned her lesson~ …… ahem?"
"Huh? Y-yes sis?"
"Isn't this where you mention how we used some leftover props and back-ups to make the dolly so quickly and reveal the trick?"
"Oh… um… n-no?"
"Ah, alright then. Sorry about that baby bro… I know JUST how to make up for that~ You know what these stories have been missing so far~?"
"Oh… ooooooh no."
"Oooooh yes~ We've had tricks, we've had surprises, we've had treats… so for my last story how about we have some good old fashion scares~? For your approval my little ones I present the final Spook House tale for the night~ I call it…"
Break in, Break Down
****************
Picture it my little ones, Halloween at the Spook House. Groups of little ones entering with empty candy bags and leaving with a few good scares, some fun memories, and full candy bags~ Something pure, wholesome, and right~ Something only a fiend would intentionally try to interrupt. To infringe upon… now notice the confused faces of little ones leaving the house and noticing their candy bags aren't as full as they thought they'd been. The teary eyes as they realize it looks like someone had skimmed off the top of their treats…
Lets us look inside among the hallways of the Spook House, some lit and others dark. There's bound to be a few shadowy places even along the lit path and there's a network of backstage tunnels for the workers to move around through (don't tell anyone though, it's a secret). But it seems there's somebody who shouldn't be back there skulking about. Look there! Near the exit and just past the last room! In the final hallway of the house! A flash of motion as the latest group rounds the corner and as the growlithe and houdour at the back stop and look confused. As if they felt something tug on their bags of treats…
Struggling not to chuckle to himself our thief holds perfectly still as he watches his latest victims get called away to keep up with the group, unaware they're leaving two fistfuls of candy behind. Waiting till they were out of sight the kecleon stealthily scurries further down the hallway he'd found. Almost perfectly hidden in the shadows thanks to his dark colored sweatpants and hoodie, his skin shifted to match. So long as he stuck to the unlit parts of the house and didn't move he was almost invisible… a fact he'd been abusing to swipe candy from the little ones.
Something he was quite smug about it would seem judging from his grin. Yes, sneaking into the Spook House without paying, quite literally stealing candy from babies, it seems he's quite proud of himself for all this. Isn't that just nice? Such a smug little thief as he slinks back to his hideout with his ill gotten goods. Oh yes, that's the thing he's most proud of in all this. Not only having snuck in but having found what he considered to be the perfect hideout in the Spook House.
Not all the planned scenes get used little ones. Occasionally the time and budget just isn't there to make a scene meet our standards. Most of the time they're taken apart and replaced… but from time to time they're left standing till the spook house is taken down. That's where our smugly craven little thief has made his den.
It would have been a wonderful room if we'd had the budget to do it right. Roof painted to resemble a dark nights sky with a "moon" overhead providing light. Walls painted to resemble a dark forest with a few tree props attached for effect. A floor of "Grass" dotted with tombstones big and small along what would have been the path. Oh and of course jack-o-lanterns scattered among the tombstones. Some sitting on top of them, some sharing space with them on the ground. The soft glow of the smiles and eyes illuminating our unwelcome guest as he dumps the loot out on the ground with the rest of his pile. Confident that he is safe and away from any who might catch him…
Tell me little ones, have you heard any of the stories about those who defile graveyards? Who disturb the spirits and sacred ground? Who tread where they are not welcome and do what they shouldn't? No? Yes? Heehehehahahaha~ Lets continue then~
"Not as much as I got from that gothorita or the smoochum or stantler… but not bad, not bad." the thief snickers to himself as he shuffles through his spoils "Yeah, not like they need it anyway, brats are better off withou-"
HOO-HOO
My my, he certainly jumps quite well for such a confident intruder… and look at his head whip around looking for the source of that noise. No worries though my unwelcome guest, it was just the prop noctowl in the trees. The sound effect must have gone off for some reason you tell yourself~ Yes, that must be it~ Nothing to worry about… yes, yes~ Squint and count~ Tell yourself that there ISN'T more jack-o-lanterns than the last time you looked~ You must be remembering wrong. After all, your spoils are more important~
"W-whatever, any it's not like their parents can't just go buy 'em more next time they go get diapers. Yeah, with all this work I'm putting in I DESERVE this cand-"
Creeeeeeeeeeak.
Oh yes, look again Mr. Thief~ You certainly deserve something alright, now look for what made that noise~ Keep looking, keep looking… now shrug it off~ Must have been nothing, right? Right… now look again~ Is that fear in your eyes I see Mr. Thief? Count the jack-o-lanterns, count them~ There's definitely more this time, isn't there? Noooo… can't be, must be a trick of the light~ Has the room always been so dark? It seems the moon's glow is getting dimmer~
"D-damn it, I-I'm not some scaredy baby! M-must just be my n-nerves… y-yeah, that's it. O-one more haul then I'm out. Yeah, just one more haul then I'm-"
Click, click click~
"… whatthehell?"
Oh that's RIGHT my wonderfully unwelcome guest… the door you came in through? Locked tight~ Now who could have gone and done a thing like that? Maybe whoever, WHATever is making that growing murmuring sound behind you knows~? Heehehehahaha~ Of yes, yes, keep trying the door~ Jiggle the knob, pull with all your might, everything short of pounding on it for fear somebody might hear~ It's not budging~ Nothing left to do… but turn around~
"….!!!"
Turn around and say "Hi" to all those jack-o-lanterns you noticed earlier~ They make wonderful pumpkaboo and gourgeist now don't they~? Look at all the sizes there are~ Look at just how many their are~ Why I'd say you're outnumbered easily 20 to 1 Mr. Thief… but that's fine~ The Spook House NEVER harms welcome guests and those who follow the rules you know~ Despite all the spooky fun they have nothing to fear… but that doesn't apply to YOU now does it my fine, foolish unwelcome guest?
How clever~ Scratch at the doors and walls, yes that's definitely worth a try~ Maybe you'll be able to get through… or not~ Now, try something else… maybe something that DOESN'T look away from the ghosts surrounding you~? Oh, you didn't notice at first did you~? There's more than when you looked before~ Can't look away from the pumpkins without the patch just getting bigger, right~? Look how close they've gotten now~ What will you try next Mr. Thief? Not looking away as you press your back to the door and furiously claw at the knob? Clever~
But maybe you forgot about the moon~? The constantly dimming moon overhead~? The rooms only light source keeping it from going pitch black~? Well, not the ONLY light source actually~ Your pumpkin friends provide their own little glow from their jack-o-lantern eyes~ Isn't that helpful~? See? Even as the room goes PITCH BLACK you can still see their glowing eyes getting closer… and closer… and closer… what will you try next my smug little thief…?
"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!"
Screaming~ The smartest choice you've made all day~
*******************
"And THAT my little ones is the price you pay for violating the sacredness of the Spook House, of Halloween~ Heehehahahaha~ This is a night for scares, this is a night for fun, this is a night for little one~ Cross these at your own risk for, like our smug little thief, you too might end up never being heard from again~"
"… uh…" Gaspar watched a blushing, crying, and candy-less kecleon flee the spook house running as fast as he could. Well… as fast as he could in a humiliating costume that looked like a scaled up versions of an infants jack-o-lantern costume, complete with diaper judging by how he waddled. "Right… n-never heard from again…" the phantump mumbled.
"And thus ends our tales from the Spook House~" Gretchen continued as if nothing had happened "Now my little ones… any questions~?"
"Yeah." the dratini girl dressed in a pirate costume spoke up "What did any of that have to do with us asking you about what this place was?" she said bluntly as the gothita girl dressed as a mermaid standing next to her blushed timidly and nodded.
"Heehehehahahaha~ Well you SAID you hadn't been in one before~ You ASKED what the Spook House was~ I'd say those stories answered that quite well, don't you think~?"
"Yeeees… b-but… um… m-ma'am… how do I say this… um…" the gothita stuttered.. as the dratini just cut in with a blunt "Was ANY of that really necessary for the answer?" as the gothita just blushed more and looked down a little "Y-yes, what she said."
"Hmmm… noooooooo, no it wasn't~ But it was fun, wasn't it~? Still-" Gretchen motioned to Gaspar as the phantump floated out of sight "I think you girls deserve a little reward for being well behaved enough to let me talk~ We're about to close up the trick-or-treat route~ How would you two like to be our last guest before we shift the house back to normal~? Free of charge~" she added as Gaspar returned with the trick-or-treat bags… much to the girls surprise~
"O-oh, um… thank you ma'am…"
"Wait, really? … you know we're not the age we look, right?"
"It's Gretchen please~ Not old enough to be a ma'am yet~ I go to the same school you two do… same as my baby bro~ Does that answer the question~?" the gourgeist said with a smirk as Gaspar timidly held out the bags to them which the girls took after a moment of consideration. Staring at the empty sacks there was a moment of silence before the dratini looked back up "So… can we get into the place for free when the grown-up scares are back and set up too?" she asked as the gothita gasped out a "Sammi!" getting a "What?" from the dragon.
"HeehehehehahahaHAHAHAHA!!! Well THAT'S something entirely different then my little ones~ If you want that then there's a little deal with the Halloween devil you need to make~ A little favor I'd like from the two of you~"
"… what's that? Better not be anything weird… hey! Watch it Tabitha!" the dratini complained as the gothita elbowed her lightly for that comment.
"No no no no~ Nothing like that~ Whaaaaaaaat I'd like from you twoooo… is that you take my baby bro with you for your trick-or-treat trip through the house~" Gretchen cooed, pulling out another trick-or-treat bag out of seemingly nowhere as the phantump partially hiding behind her let out of a surprised yelp of "W-what!?"
"Heehehehahahahahaha~ You can't hide it from my baby bro~ I've watched you watching the little ones going in and coming out with candy with envy~ You've been staying up here helping me at the front like a good little stump… you deserve a little something fro that~" the gourgeist gently tugged Gaspar out from behind her and placed the bag in his hands as he whimpered "Besides, you need to try and make some school friends baby bro~ You're all freshmen after all~"
"B-b-bu-bu-bu-bu" Gaspar stuttered, somehow blushing through his wooden mask as he bobbled in the air "I… t-they… d-du… b-bu, bu… t-they p-probably d-dun…"
"Fine." the dratini spoke up, making the phantump squeak and the gothita blink in surprise. The dragon just shrugged "No promises on any of that friendship stuff, that's more the guys thing… and Jules." she added as the gothita stared at her in confusion "… um… Sammi? A-are you implying we should introduce him to Andrew, Petie, and Jules?" the psychic type asked, getting her a dirty look from the dragon and a growled comment of "Make a big deal out of it and YOU'LL be the one introduce him to them."
"Y-you'll i-in-int-troduce m-me to y-your… friends?"
Looking a little annoyed by the phantump's question the dratini snorted "Yeah, fine, we'll introduce you to… don't you dar-!!!" her protest came to late as it tapered into a indignant squeak as the little ghost type almost tackled her with a hug babbling his thanks… along with generally blubbering as tears streamed down his mask. "Get the hell off me! Get the hell off me right now!" the dratini hissed, apparently not quite appreciating the gesture~
"Heehehehahahahahaahaahaha~" Gretchen laughed happily, fishing out a walkie talkie to let the staff know there was one more group for the trick-or-treat route… and using one of her hair arms to snap several pictures of the scene~ This had been a good year for the Spook House~ It'd been a Happy Halloween indeed~
"And a Happy Halloween to one and all~ HeehehahaHAHAHA~!!"
"Stop laughing and get your baby bro off me already dammit! Stop laughing and get him off me Tabitha!"

PCA - Tales from the Spook House"It's that time of year again my little ones~ The leafs fade, the days grow short and cold, the season of spirits is upon us!
The End~
