Enfys (they/them) goes to become a Wizard's assistant with the hope of having their wish granted, which is to have their body be more the way they wish it was. They are hired by Halinaud.

Isobel Crowe is a witch who aids Halinaud as well as does her own magic and studies. She is generous and bubbly. She takes on a girl named Marette as her assistant.

Marette is an enthusiastic, hard worker who is drawn to work by the promise of any wish being granted. She finds more than she bargained for but that ends up not being so bad.

Halinaud is a bit cool and reserved, a very powerful wizard but that is a double edged sword and he is desperate for assistance in collecting the harder to harvest ingredients for his spells. He has a secret that is both dangerous and frightening.
