For 2019's Halloween jack-o-lantern I carved a shrill from  shardofconfusion's comic Chasing Bolide.

Specifically the shrill on this page. After some searching I found an additional reference which was very helpful.

The tentacles don't quite pop as much as I'd like in the photo, but after taking about a dozen of them I guess this is as much as the camera can pick up in the dark. At least the lines are mostly visible in this photo.
