This is amazing, and it's reminding me a bit of something. Ever heard of the music artist BT? Well, he did a music video for one of his songs, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=osWofdNdyfk , and he says that the hand motions are supposed to represent him editing the music. First thing I thought of after I got past my amazement at this.
