A concept sketch for a ship I'm calling Teardrop, despite its nautiloid shape. There's not much to say about it, since I'm still figuring it out, but I do know that it lands on its side rather than perching itself up in flight position (what we see here is the starboard side): the small inner compartment rotates to accommodate the passengers/crew, while the engineering section is designed as such that it can be accessed and used both during landing and flight. I'm still debating over whether the back should be completely enclosed (see the dotted line) or open like it's currently drawn.
I'll also be posting concepts 1 through 3 over in my scraps file. They're… um… not good enough for a real post.

Space… the final frontier, not like anyone cares. These are the voyagers of the starship Emoprise. It's ongoing mission that no one understands: to explore strange new worlds and be totally not blown away by them because my life is pain, to seek out new life and new civilizations and mock them for being conformists, to kinda meander over to where no one cares that no one has gone before. Like, my life sucks.
