Half elves are often seen as a bit of the best of both worlds in a way. The adventurous nature of humans and the sharp senses of elves makes for a desirable combination. If you were to ask Feywynne however, she'd say that her better half came exclusively from her human mother. To this day she seeks revenge for the suffering inflicted on the woman who carried her into this world at the hands of a mysterious pale elven sadist.

This one's a character sketch for my brother. He decided on a half elf wizard as a bit of a switch from his usual full elf caster and further broke the mold when he decided to have her with a mistrust bordering on hatred of elves. Guess that's what happens when you're fathered by one of the worst villains that our combined minds could invent.
