Behold, the final entry for my Inktober project of 2015. I still like the way this turned out and, through the 31 days of artwork you can really see improvement in my inking ability. The project really launched me forward in terms of being able to consistently put out work and I give a special thank you to 
petplayer976 for being with me almost every step of the way.

the grumpy protector of a young boy (who has a devastating power within him), and the immortal commander of the Otherworld army. I'm still working on his story since his character has direct tie-ins with multiple projects, but the original story goes:
In the Forsaken Realm, a magical world separate from our own, there was an evil sorcerer goddess who was at war with the warriors of light. Hellbent on spreading her name and power throughout the land. There was a prophecy that one day a hero, pure of heart, would stop her and end her reign of terror. Upon finding out this information, she actually did the smart thing and took it very seriously. She withdrew her war campaign and focused all her resources on finding the 'Hero of Prodigy' . It didn't take long for her to track down the still pregnant mother of the alleged prophecy child, but rather than outright kill her, she came up with a better plan.
If there was to be such a warrior powerful enough to cut even her down, why not have that talent under her rule and ensure the prophecy would never come true? She cursed the fetus in the womb, transforming it into one of her beastial-soldiers, and upon his birth (which killed his mother after such a dramatic mutation), Lee was taken and raised by the beastial battlion, with the goddess acting as his godmother.
Magic has coursed through Lee's veins since birth (literally). He specializes in healing, both himself and others, and, after knowing nothing but war his entire life, Lee grew to be a Masterful Tactician, Ranger, and Spellslinger. The warrior of prophecy proposed to save the realm became the goddess's most powerful weapon.
Course....that's only a little part of the whole story ;)
Long story short, Lee's been through a lot over the centuries and, what he decides to do over his year of protecting the boy, will have a big impact on the fate of the realms, including ours.
