Dr. Grey has always had Ms. Belle's condition in the back of his mind, and often continues working on potential ideas or theories that the has, that may one day lead to her being cured. At present, Ms. Belle seems to switch, seemingly at random, between a Human form, and a blue inflatable form. For obvious reasons, this is hugely inconvenient, and Ms. Belle doesn't enjoy venturing from the laboratory in case she 'transitions' in front of the public, or some of her old friends. Dr. Grey has not really been successful in his attempts to cure her of this issue, and every solution we've tried has backfired or simply been temporary. Today, Dr. Grey present Ms. Belle with a new option.

The concept was simple. He'd found a way to stabilise her DNA, which would prevent her from shifting between the two forms. However, it wasn't a complete fix. To do this, the DNA of both forms would be fused together, meaning should would be somewhere in the middle of the two forms. Ms. Belle seemed reluctant to try it out, for fear of loosing her human form altogether. Dr. Grey decided to put together a temporary version of this treatment that Ms. Belle could test. A short while later, Ms. Belle tested the treatment. The result was a more solid, Human shape. She was no longer inflatable, and appeared to have bones and muscle as if she were Human. However, her skin retained a (all be it lesser) blue tiny, and it still had a rubbery sheen to it. As a factor of fact, every part of her was slightly rubbery. As we discovered a short while later, this meant she could actually stretch herself a little. We're not sure where this leaves us, and how Ms. Belle feels about this. I'm sure it's an experiment we'll return to later.
