The day before I'd even get this base coloured in by, well,
, someone showed me the two icons they had gotten from them earlier! When I found out that they were being offered for free, I jumped at the opportunity! And the relatively-new artist managed to put this together for me the very next day!
Also if you like, you can consider this as an extremely-belated Pride Month contrtibution!
I won't comment on the original base as I'd save that for (if I can even find the damn original on his FA page, lol), but the colouring looks fantastic! In fact, the extra colouring in the lineart actually looks pretty cool! Solid effort getting his palettes and patterns in all the right spots; I imagine his geometric fur pattern pose quite a challenge, so major props for that! lol And way to incorporate his orientation on the flag!
While he doesn't seem to have his long hair here, I realize that these bases wouldn't be edited, so I knew what I was getting myself into. Plus that seemed to be the only base not only most suitable for any of my characters, but also the one with the most hair if that makes sense.
