No I didn't. And I dunno. I'm planning on skipping this game anyway.

It'll be the worst in the series for me if Totodile isn't in. ;w;

And even if Totodile's in, only a few Pokémon I've competitively trained made it in. And those that did rely on Mega Evolution, which isn't in the game. ;w;

so, remember the opening theme to the first season of pokemon advanced anime? "take a step and im on my way, gonna start all over again!" and as far as competitive training goes and overreliance on megas, that shouldn't stop u from playing this masterpiece of a pokemon game.

On that note, remember how Ash always takes his Pikachu along to different regions? My shiny Totodile Lockjaw is like Ash's Pikachu to me. And if he can't come along for the ride, I'm not going either.

Point is: My Tyranitar, Sableye, etc. won't be as useful without Mega Evolution. And I'm not spending hours and hours training completely new Pokémon from the ground up wither. If this mistake gets repeated I won't even be able to use them in the next game anyway.

kk. fair point, but you don't want to play the game unless you can skip playing the game>_< im pretty sure lockjaw is in. one leak mentioned all starters a while back or something. why ignore all the new stuff though? if you keep your mega reliant team how are you gonna play the game?

With skipping the game I mean not playing it. Or not buying it to begin with to be more specific. ^w^;

And I'm waiting for official confirmation before I believe it. I want to be 100% sure all starters make it in.

I don't transfer my stuff until I beat the main story, after which I usually ditch whatever team I had for the main story and focus on training more Pokémon. In this case, I might as well drop this game after I finish it and go back to Ultra Sun where I can at least use everything. Wouldn't be surprised if the competitive community decided to stick with USUM like they keep doing with Melee regarding Smash.

I'm sorry. Pokémon just isn't Pokémon for me without Totodile (what with Lockjaw being my sona and all. Lol) and I despise my effort being for nothing and having to start completely from scratch regarding competitively raising Pokémon. Especially when you have over 70 level 100 Pokémon that're almost all competitively trained. ;w;

I still like Intelleon's design, but I can like the design of Pokemon while still have criticisms against Sword/Shield.
