It's a rainy october night, and you're alone, in the middle of your old countryside house, exhausted from your day, spent hunting and wandering the vast plateaux around your home. You can hear the wood creaking angrily, the rain furiously rattling on the roof, but here you are, rested in your comfortable chair, warm, protected from the outside ruthlessness of the storm outside, and of all the unspoken entities that lurk within it.
However, an uncanny sound disturbs you from the meditative bliss you had dived into. It seems someone is knocking at your door. At this place and time ? Who could be so foolish as to be outside when such an unbearable storm is as well ? Alas, it appears to be a traveler, carrying a gift for you, to help you warm your cold body and soothe your rigid mind.
You feel, all of a sudden, very cold in your body. Your mind, lucid and curious just a second before, is now hazy like that of a lost climber in the mountains.
Such generosity from a complete stranger... cannot be turned away.
