W.C. did a nice job of making a tribute to T.J.III's own work, e.g., Benjamin Fenn (1778).
I can't tell the two apart! I only found out it was Crosby because the researcher apparently made a positive ID based on the probate.
Also, a number of the Connecticut Valley carvers were influenced by each other as contemporaries and colleagues. So it makes sense that sometimes they'd copy each others' styles.
