Only a small part of this is in today's comic(coming in a few hours). I had to know where everything is so I know if it's in the shot or not. Also, the location of the couch(where mom's sitting) dictates camera angle.
I've known for a while where the boys' bedroom is, how big the cabin is, and what half everything else is on, but everything else was decided tonight. It's HARD to fit a complete home into what's basically 2 motel rooms. I didn't consider that the kitchen COULD fit in the boys' room's area(I may extend storage there), but Patrick does need a play area. I had originally planned bunkbeds, and I may still do that, but the ceilings look rather low. Still, a bunkbed would give Kenny more privacy. A real wall would too. As for mom, she gets no privacy. Sure, she can throw up a holographic screen, but Patrick just bursts through that thing and hurts himself on the coffee table.
I still need to decide where the boys' closet(s) is/are. It's possible they'll be overhead, or where Patrick's bed is, if I go the bunkbed route.
There's no toilet paper, showerhead, nor various other things because they weren't in the shot. I ALMOST textured the mouse cage, until I realized it won't be shown for a few weeks anyway. The sink does have a mirror.
116 years in the future, they surely have something better than a refrigerator and freezer, hence "food store".
