I should point out that this isn't a true fursuit, considering that I can't use my hands at all, nor can I even see out. This was entirely intentional, of course!
(I have leather mitts on, shoved into the padding in the front paws. I've got a hood on that keeps the foam from getting into my eyes. It's all about sensation! :-} )

Yeah, I actually got really lucky, in that I had the big plushie, plus another large black bear plushie, that I used for most of the fake fur. I tried to find stuff to buy to fill in extra, but there wasn't anything close to the really short black fur of the plushie. The chest and some parts of the legs were filled in with stretch velvet, which was the closest.
