Ann Landers years ago, said in her column that if you feel you MUST end your life, please do not mess up somebody else in doing so !
1 - Some damn old man threw himself under an 18-wheeler one night. Not only was his body smeared all over the highway, but the truck driver had to go into psychiatric counseling.
2 - Some worthless drug addict jumped off a rooftop -and landed on a young lady who had a bright future ahead of her. Both were killed.
I thought there was a third suicide she mentioned of some worthless person. but I may have been mistaken. There was a time when suicides were denied any Christian burial, but impaled at a crossroads, and left there for the birds, their souls consigned to a hot hell !
