I love Lady Bugs. They fly down to my computer table and quickly learn that I am good for a drink of water in their long winter hibernation. Just put a drop in front of them and ever so gently nudge them towards it. They start to run, but as soon as they "bonk" into the drop the stop and drink, lol. Takes them about five minutes to fill up. To show you how crazy smart they are, they seem to know I won't hurt them and they land in the same place as last time and wait for me to bump them towards water again. It's seriously cute and they don't hurt anyone but lousy, plant sucking aphids. They can't bite and are the prettiest bugs i have ever seen.

I get them in North Dakota like you. (Farmers brought them from Asia to deal with aphids naturally. They do an awesome job too.)
