Homecoming
It turned out Jack and Rachel were talked to a little about what happened. But the vulpine and bob cat didn’t get into trouble as the students they had tussled with weren’t exactly popular with most of the female body at the school. So the principal, teachers, and the rest sided with Jack and Rachel who were very popular in the school. For their friends they were disgusted with the ones that had tried to attacked the bob cat and glad Jack had come to her defense. At least now the rest of the male student body knew if they messed with her, they’d have to answer to the vulpine. Now he pretty much was cleared to claim her by his side; all that was left was making that move. That would take some guts but for now, he hoped things would go great with the Homecoming dance. The male was a little concerned and asked Rachel about how her dad felt about that. “I mean it’s a date,” he said to her. The vulpine had no problem with saying that. “I’ll be picking you up and we’re going to it alone.”
“I know what you mean,” the female replied. “But my dad doesn’t mind you or that at all.”
“Really?”
“Yeah…” The bob cat then smiled up at him. “And the part of this being a date… I like the sound of that…”
The male blushed, hopeful but before he could ask what that meant, Yuki and Maddie came up to talk to them because of the dance coming up. They also had plans and the second vulpine was asking the coyote to it and she had accepted. The date for it came quickly and Jack did tell his father and mother about it. Topaz was giddy with happiness but kept her cool in front of her eldest son. Nicholas was happy and his vixen wife just gushed how she felt to him. When Rachel told her folks it was about the same reaction. The point was that it was on. And Jack hoped that this would go great. The clothes for it had been bought and so had the flowers. The dance was on a Saturday and the time before found Jack getting ready in his suit. He knew how to get the tie ready having been taught that. Checking himself over in the mirror, the guy grabbed the flowers for Rachel and made his way to the living room. His parents were already there and dressed up somewhat as they would be going over as well to her house just to see them off. This was a first after all. “Ooooh you like, look so wonderful Jack,” Topaz said in a high pitched tone to see her eldest son look so handsome.
“Thanks mom,” the young vulpine replied. “If you’re ready, we should go.”
“Indeed,” Nicholas agreed. “Don’t want to keep her waiting.”
His younger siblings had someone to look after them while these three went out so that wasn’t going to be a problem. Jack led the way out and to the cars. He drove over with the parents right behind. The two vehicles made it to her house with no problem. The family walked up to the front door and Jack let out a breath. “Here we go,” he said and knocked on the door.
Her parents answered it dressed up like the older foxes. “Good evening Jack,” her father said with a smile.
“You look nice,” her mother commented.
“Thank you Mrs. Wikor and sir,” the young male replied respectively.
The two older bob cats let them inside. “I think Rachel is almost ready, I’ll go check,” Mrs. Wikor said and went upstairs. Her husband led them to the living room where a young male bob cat was waiting. It was her younger brother, the one that her mom had been pregnant with when she told Jack about that in the second grade. He had grown a lot and Rachel actually found that she hadn’t minded him at all and was happy to be a big sister. “So you’re him huh?” the little one asked whose name was Danny.
“Yeah, that’s right,” Jack replied.
“So… you gonna kiss her?”
“Danny!” Mr. Wikor said sternly and the younger sibling got a grin.
“It’s okay sir, I have younger siblings,” the young vulpine stated. “They teased me about this to. At least the youngest one.”
“Just remember to have fun tonight,” Nicholas told him. “And make sure she does as well.”
Just then the sound of footsteps coming down the stairs drew everyone’s attention. They saw her mother with Rachel leading the way. Her eyes found Jack in his suit with a green tie to bring out the color of his eyes. The black for the suit was a perfect match and to her the vulpine teen couldn’t have looked anymore handsome. He on the other hand found himself taken aback by her beauty. Despite being somewhat of a tom boy, Rachel looked so beautiful in his eyes as her shapely legs, her growing chest, and her curves were all brought out by the dress she was wearing. Sure there was her ass, but that couldn’t be seen with this front view. The color was purple to go with her black fur. There was one strap over her right shoulder while the left was bare. The length went past her knees down to the middle of the lower legs. Her heels matched as well. The teen bob cat really was a gorgeous beauty in this moment. “Hello Jack,” she said softly with a smile that matched.
“Rachel…” he breathed as the female walked up to him. The guy then remembered the flowers and presented them. Rachel smiled, sniffing them and the mothers got the moment with the cameras they had brought. Then came a few with the two together.
“You two are so cute,” her mother said.
“Aren’t they?” Topaz agreed seeing Jack’s arm around Rachel who seemed to be glowing with happiness. He looked happy as well. Everyone then figured it was time for them to head off to the dance. The two got into his car and were off. Jack noticed on the way walking to the vehicle that she held his arm and even had one paw on right one as the male drove. He made it up in his mind that somehow tonight with that he would go for it with telling her just how he felt.
The two made it in time and got out. Once again Rachel grabbed his arm, even purring. Sure Rachel had before but this was a first with being like this with Jack. In her heart she hoped tonight he would make that move. If not, she would. They presented their tickets at the door and were let in. The dance had just started so they had gotten here at the perfect time. Jack smiled at her and she smiled back. Taking her paws, the vulpine led the feline to the dance floor. In this moment, his shyness melted away, knowing what to do. The guy knew how to dance thanks to Nicholas and Topaz showing him a little. The rest had come naturally since those two knew how to as well. In just a minute, Rachel was laughing. “Oh my god I feel like I’m five again!” she exclaimed.
“You don’t look five,” Jack whispered into her ear.
They saw the ones they knew here dance around them, including Yuki and Maddie. And the coyote glowed with happiness to be with him. As the time went on, it was clear how great of an idea it was to ask them to this as a date. During a break for dancing it found Jack and Rachel in a corner, looking out at the other students. “Having fun?” he asked her.
“Of course,” she replied, clearly having the time of her life. “I’m so happy you asked me to this Jack…”
His arm went around her again the bob cat purred, rubbing her head with affection against him. But then out of the corner of his eyes, he noticed something that made him let out a laugh. “What?” Rachel asked.
He pointed and there on the floor she saw it to and gasped with happiness. Yuki and Maddie were lip locked, clearly going to be together now. They were in their own corner and out of the way but these two saw them easily. “Well he did say he was going to go for it,” Jack stated.
“I’m very happy,” the bob cat said. “She’s liked him for a very long time.”
“Must be nice to have that…”
“It might be the same for you with someone else and who might be closer than you think…” the female whispered. Jack smiled, suspecting maybe it meant her.
“Yeah… I think you’re right.” He wrapped his arm around her again and she purred louder. The rest of the dance passed by, the two only going to their friends to talked to congratulate them on hooking up. The second vulpine had asked her out which gave the first male the inspiration he needed. While Jack didn’t go for it here, he knew when it would happen for him and Rachel. After seeing her act the way she had tonight, the guy knew there was nothing else to loose.
