These tongs here that I have made are going to be very useful for me in the winter when I go out into the woods and collect lumber. The jaws are made from rail road spikes, the two actuating arms are made from little strips of metal I found from broken window in a dumpster, the handle is a piece of rebar that I forged and bent into the shape of a T. The twine that you see wrapped around it is to obviously add better comfort, I did not design this thing to be comfortable before hand. I must say the rope feels very nice,though
