As Nick has it out with the seagull (roughly the same time as the events on page 4), Taelia continues to steep in dissatisfaction at how the would-be hot date has gone ice cold.
Did a bit of juggling for this page, actually, as I was going to make it page 7 but then decided that the reading would have less of a jarring back-and-forth effect if I put this one up first... so you'll have to wait another week to see how Nick settles things with the seagull. Ain't I a stinker? lol
I decided to use a smaller print size to go with the narrower speech bubble outlines, and I really like how it works with Elimmc's visuals in this page. Though normally a smaller font would be used to leave room for more dialogue, in this case I think leaving as much of the picture alone as possible fits well with just how small Taelia is feeling at the moment. I may get a little more into the reasons for her insecurities in the fic version, but for now I think the silence speaks best.
