Oh, I'm not a native English speaker, I've always seen twins used to describe siblings being born at the same time, so I thought it was just that. It's like that in my native language too. =)
And yes! Their race - the Varanar - does not have a natural origin. It was both created and enginered by magic. Theirs genetics were carefully woven, and mutations or abnormalities are inexistent in them. Inbreeding has no negative effect on them, and any child they'd have would be as perfect as any other.
Inbreeding does not create genetic problems out of nowhere, it increases the chances of passing down recessive traits and being recessive does not automatically means deleterious. Since Varanar don't have deleterious traits, it does not affect them.

iβve realized my brain could recognize them as lower hands/leghands at first which comfort me a lot since kulebyakas have them and. ahhhh
