Over 100 layers and about a month to complete this is the final result. No lines pictures take forever but the results are very good... :)

It was running at about 98% memory load by the time I was done... :P
I was afraid I was going to have flatten the image at some point to keep on working but luckly I didn't have too... The full size image is actually a lot larger... That was it'll make a good print out... :)

Then there was some luck involved as for that piece to see the light of day, or maybe it was supposed to no matter what. I'm glad your computer held up to do so.
I think personally that's all I really need to work with for my art is layers. You make it rather easy for using that many.

Isho seems to stream porn just fine,but yah if it hurts you I wouldn't want you to do it. I swear I get wayyyy to atached to people on this site. These attachments, overide all my logic and intelligence. I just want to meet all these people I probably never will. People that probably want nothing to do with me.

Dittos on the lighting. Very soft tones and accounting for both moonlight and candlelight.
The only part that looks strange to me is the positioning of her left arm. From the given angle, it looks like her elbow is pulled behind her back.
Overall though, it is quite a remarkable piece. You've really concentrated on some of the more subtle details, and the results shine through brilliantly!

This was before I added the lighting. Basically I take one color of the picture and draw/shade it on top of the sketch. New layer then move to the next color...
After I'm done I add the background. Then blue and orange shadows to make the characters fit in with the background and then I add the lighting.

The scenery is so beautiful that you can just FEEL the flames from their heart for each other. Although I gotta admit his elbow looks a *TAD* too close to the candle to me because if that was a real scene I can imagine the sleeve at his elbow catching fire and shouting, "OW! OH! OH! HOT! HOT!" as he jumps around and tries to pat the flames out with his hand. I know from personal experience that heat from a candle... pretty darn hot!
I love the way she looks in that very sexy dress and wish that if such a real dress existed, it'd end up on a girl I know. :)
