In an effort to put more of my love of horror and monsters in my art, I'm making an alphabetical bestiary of movie monsters. I'm also experimenting with some mediums I don't normally use. Should be a fun series!
Moving on to a little underrated film that I really enjoyed, we have Dren from Splice. I decided not to do the more iconic female Dren, but rather her "final form" where she becomes male (watch the film, it explains it). It also fits my theme of more monstrous creatures. Anyway, this took way too long to finish and I just had to hurry it up.
Made with watercolor, colored pencils, ink and acrylic paint.
