Here are some very fat characters that I had made over the years of my artistic 'career', all to varying degrees of development.
The designs are not to scale; I just drew straight-ahead.
⁂
1) This is a very old character concept that was renewed recently back when I was thinking of Sigmund Freud's analysis of the psyche. He is my Heartless... or rather my superego in the form of a Heartless. He is a combination of the Helmed Body and the Land Armour, his helmet being made out of the same ingredients made in the Storm's Eye accessory. He has a lot of knowledge and mental faculty that gives him a long-term form of thinking that addresses alternate perspectives, but he sometimes end up thinking something way, WAY long. He is also terrible at outside-the-box thinking. On another point, he is very insistent against doing things 'improperly' or 'inelegantly'. Above all, the over-riding thing is his morality, him always doing the moral over the logical or the decent.
2) I finally settled on what type of Pokémon my wild Pokémon concept would be.
3) Back when the How to Train Your Dragon film was new and hot, I wondered what dragon I would have. I decided that I would have a Gronkle. This one has a lax and even sorta-kinda slobby demeanour, preferring to sleep a lot of the day. He also has speaks in Received Pronunciation out of some reason.
4) He is my still-unnamed Fedexia character.
5) Earl is a 'cool uncle' sort of Blastoise that would be great with kids and is a great example of the Sanguine temperament. He is actually a musclegut.
6) This worm vampire is actually a machine-learning computer program. I do not know what that program actually does, but, if he was in a role-playing game, I imagine him to be able to learn more advanced 'spells' the more training data he eats. Of course, if he eats more data, he gets bigger and fatter. I think that he can 'shrink' by deleting the training data he eats, though that obviously makes him forget the 'spells' he has learned.
7) Bjørn is a Pangoro. I imagine that some mon found him cool (because of how Pangoro are naturally cool), which inspired Bjørn forming a more deliberate 'cool tough guy' image. He not only likes being a crowd-pleaser (the same way performers are); he actually likes being a cool tough guy, himself. In another point, that is supposed to be a stubble moustache and a hairy belly that has an innie navel; they are all real.
8) I do not know much about him, but he is a Great Argon Lizard who can get physical, taking a domineering approach with his belly and feet. This is actually part of a ploy in getting others out of their shell (so to speak).
9) This is actually me thinking about Cetloc, my 'ideal' joke character. I an thinking about giving him a sleeker head, but I have yet o figure out the implementation.
10) This is a fatty gentleman Lugia with atop hat, monocle, and handlebar moustache. I do not think he likes belly rubs so much, but I am not sure on that. Otherwise, he is essentially a blank slate.
11) He is a Smoosh Mole. The idea I had while making him is that whoever invented the Smoosh Wolves was making a ‘new and improved sequel’: the Smoosh Mole. However, the inventor instea decided upon instead improving the Smoosh Wolves. Only one Smoosh Mole was made. (This was before tehsquishyray solidified the origins of the Smoosh Wolves. I have ye to update his backstory accordingly.) The Smoosh Mole, Kamal, is envious of the Smoosh Wolves. After all, he wa supposed to be perfection (or so he says)! I magine him to be a cartoony villain who is in a part of a rivalry agains the Smoosh Wolves… thoug he frequently just gets mooshed, himself. (Think of the Tom and Jerry rivalry.) His main smooshing item is a mallet, though he also frequently just uses his body because that is my favourite form of smooshing.
