Yeah honey talk all that glamour like the world's in your fingertips and you're such a fuckin knowitall, but you can only fake it for so long before you get your ass handed to you and you've gotta retrace your steps to see where the fuck up trail carried you. Hold that poker face, it'll carry you through all that pain that'll try and wear you down when you're already lying to yourself. Maybe it'll change and maybe it'll stay like this a while. Either way, if you tell yourself you want to survive, then you'll have to prove it to yourself, first. You can walk that stage but it ain't as if you own it or want to be there to begin with.
All of those flaws are so subtle, but you see all of them, and it'll hold you back if you don't learn to live with 'em. You've had a few missteps and we can look back over our shoulders every so often in fear it's gonna come back and get us when we least expect it, but even if it does, so what? You'd do much better for yourself enjoying the time you've got left than waiting for an inevitable. You've got your five minutes sweetheart; make 'em count and show your pride like you're the last motherfucker left in the game with one last hoorah before the curtains close. Don't disappoint me.
