after a nasty day at college, i came home to this and almost started crying when i opened it.

this was the sketch officially used in the production of doug! it's not a full cel, but i've got one arriving tomorrow that i'm excited for <3!

this is GORGEOUS. it is such a perfect shot showing mr dink welcoming doug into the bluff scouts. i could not imagine a better shot, honestly. i'm getting this framed and it will be put somewhere in my room. i could just stare for hours.

it had a plastic sheet over it to stop it getting damaged, and i did plant a kiss on mr dink with the plastic sheet inbetween us so i wouldn't damage it.

looking really close i could see a few lines in blue instead of black and also where i presume the animator erased something to draw it again. it's so cool. and scene numbers and such at the bottom.

i'm so proud to own this. it was worth every penny just for the feeling of opening it. i love it so much.
