No sorry, should have been clearer. This cat just has a similar endangered fate to that of the dingo, i.e. both are dying out because of cross breeding with feral cats/dogs.
Except the scottish wildcat is probably in a much worse position.... supposedly amur tigers have higher numbers in the wild.
